Most of MSA's work is new buildings; however, we respect and encourage remodeling and renovation projects as well. From a sustainable standpoint, preserving and adapting existing buildings makes sense. From a historical standpoint, it's absolutely critical that we preserve our built heritage for the future, as a link to our shared past.
Existing buildings also present huge opportunities for shrinking our environmental footprint. These often go unnoticed, because building owners and managers simply do not have the information to make effective decisions (i.e., why does the heat always go out when the buildings empty for a week?).
